Q2. Let me know who is answering to this interview and please introduce yourself.
Hi, I'm Tommy and I play the guitar in Another Chance
Q3. What is your hometown(hometowns) ?
We're from Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, a city with 2 millions
inhabitants, except for Seba who's from San Lorenzo, a nearer small town
which is about 30km away
Q4. You are introduce yourself as "Hardcore Melodico" on your Facebook.
But I think there are another inspiration from Thrash Metal. Let me know
about the bands you inspired by.
Yes, we've introduced as Melodic Hardcore just to simplify, but we don't
really like to be labeled in any genre because our influences are very
rich, from Nofx to Pantera or Death Metal bands, through D.R.I,
Municipal Waste, etc, without leaving aside the Melodic Hardcore and
Punk Rock roots. Some may called us as Technical or Skatepunk,
Skatecore, but we're always looking forward our own style.
Q5. You have released an album "Tiempos Difíciles Y Desalentadores" last
April, which is composed of 9 songs. Let me know the theme of this album
and how these great songs were made.
The album's name and lyrics' meaning are based on the difficulties and
obstacles that we've been through until the album was released. Most of
the songs talk about never giving up in any aspects of life. They were
written and composed in a period of 8 months at Tommy's house. It was a
really gratifying experience.... Everything was flowing.
Q6. What was the most impressive story during your recordings?
No doubt about it, the most impresive but not positive story is about
the 500 discs that didn't work. We still don't know who makes the
mistake, but the first lot of 500 were recorded in wav format, so all of
them are unuseful, only can be listen to in a pc.... Now we can laugh
about it, but in that moment was devastating......
Is really hard to say. If we talk about classic punk rock or heavy
metal, the scene is still alive and well. There will always be true fans
of this 2 big genres. But, in other alternative styles, is getting hard
finding a real support. People in our city is no longer going to shows
as they used to do ten years ago. For underground bands is harder
everytime, most of all to find places where to play..... But, we are
proud to keep rocking no matter what!!!!!!!
Q8. Do you have any plans to do next as a band?
In the mean time, we're creating the songs of our new EP, that is expect
to be released in 2015. We've an upcoming show with brazilian's Malvina
in december and we are also planning a Chile tour and maybe a brazilian
one too for next year. And of course, keep playing shows across our
country!!!!!!!!
Q9. In the end, is there anything for Japanese punks?
